"Vikings Blank Logan, Set Sights on District Championship"
In a thrilling matchup, the Teays Valley Vikings girls soccer team shut out Logan 2-0, advancing to the district championship. Ella Jacob stole the show, scoring both goals in the second half to secure the win.
The first half saw both teams battle for possession, but neither could find the back of the net. However, the Vikings' persistence paid off in the second half, as Jacob broke the deadlock at 35:20. She added an insurance goal at 5:19, sealing the victory for Teays Valley.
The Teays Valley Vikings will face off against the Westerville Central Warhawks in the District Championship game on Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 pm at Westerville South High School. I will be on hand for the Vikings vs. the Warhawks!
