I agree. I just ate some egg salad made with expired eggs AND expired mayo and I feel fine, uh, orrgh,,brff chrttle, smert shat barf, o ,puke, vo, purge hurl vo mit

Be careful of modern mayo. It often is laced with soybean oil

When I was a kid...... chicken sandwich or ham sandwich with miracle whip and some other stuff in a lunch pail that sat on a shelf in school for hours and hours before being eaten at lunch. Never got sick once from it.

Back then, I don't think there were any expiration dates on food. If it looked and smell good then it was good to eat.

I just threw our a full fridge and freezer of food, no matter the type or expiration date. Was out of power for 72 hrs and just said f it....good time to totally start anew.


In terms of expiration dates...I don't mess with milk products, yogurt...meat....I'd rather buy fresh than eat it.
