Great input!Much like the WOAC, I think the TRC will be down a little from last year. Bethel lost a ton from last year. TC still has Simmons, but they lost a lot too, and the Major kid decided not to come back to TC. Lehman has a new coach, but they still have Lachey. Covington's new coach will have to replace a lot of guys from last year. Milton has the Kimmel kid. You never can tell which Riverside team will show up. They might sneak up on a few people. Northridge is Northridge.
I think Miami East is the team to beat this year. They lost some good players, but they seem to just reload. I know they have a lot of talented kids coming up in the travel ball circuit. Hamaker, Penny, and then Smith on the mound will make them tough. Just imagine if McDowell had not transferred to Troy.
Yes, Brunswick is their AD. He hired one of his former players from Bellefontaine to be the head coach, so I'm sure he will still be involved with the team in some capacity.Didn't know that Brunswick wasn't coaching? I thought he was the AD as well.
Hearing McDowell is at Moeller this year. Any truth to thar?Much like the WOAC, I think the TRC will be down a little from last year. Bethel lost a ton from last year. Old news, went at winter break.Hearing McDowell is at Moeller this year. Any truth to thar?
He was barely involved with the team last year and he was the HC.Yes, Brunswick is their AD. He hired one of his former players from Bellefontaine to be the head coach, so I'm sure he will still be involved with the team in some capacity.
That's crazy. There was a rumor going around last summer that Lachey was going to jump ship too, but he stayed put. Just goes to show you there is talent in the league.Old news, went at winter break.
The 2 best players from schools in the TRC are not in the league............
I don't understand not using Lachey or Schmiesing to get a league win. With the weather coming this week, you're not going to get many chances to use them anyway.Lehman loses 9-3 to Milton and neither Lachey or Schmieing pitch...........
I guess they are going with the accumulate wins over bad teams vs trying to win the league.........
Very interested in how TC looks when Judah isnt on the mound. That should be the difference at the end of the year.
Was anyone at the game last night. Obviously Cov ran out of gas but was it BB and E or did TC start hitting once Jay was out?
Milton is a product of other schools not respecting them early, Lehman and TC did not throw their best, my guess is there were other games they believed would be tougher that week and history said to do so. Great for Milton, they are beating the teams and arms put in front of them. Second time through the league may be different as it will not be a surprise this time. Time will tell.Which is more impressive: Milton starting 3-0 in the league, or Troy Christian beating Miami East 11-2 last night?
Kimmel threw last night for Milton too. We'll see if Milton has a #2 that can match up with whoever Bethel decides to throw.Milton has Bethel tonight, once again Milton will not see the Ace of the team, Barker pitched Wed vs LC.
Troy Christian burned Simmons for 2 1/3 innings last night, and they have Lehman tonight. Looks like they are saving him for Bethel on Thursday.Next week will determine the conference. Milton has Bethel Monday, LC Tuesday, and TC Thursday all on the road.
TC has Cov Tuesday, Simmons and Jay both pitched last time and it went to extras.
Once again MU may not see Simmons which is why I hate the double round robin. The schedule plays so much into who you face. They should go back to backs like other conferences that go two times through
I've never seen that either! It's a shame it happened with Kimmel on the mound.Bethel with the win over Milton tonight 7-3. Went to the game and Bethel scored all 7 runs without recording a single hit.

Never seen that before and I’ve been watching baseball for a LONG time…
Bees in the driver seat and the conference is theirs to lose. Apparently, with some of the scores this year… almost literally, anything can happen…
