NOVICE WEIGH-INS: 7:30 - 9:00 am
NOVICE WRESTLING STARTS: Approximately @ 10:00am

OPEN DIVISON WEIGH-INS: 7:30-11:30 a.m
OPEN DIVISION WRESTLING STARTS: APPROXIMATELY @ 1pm




The top 4 Novice placers in each weight class earn computer points for seeding at Novice State. These points also count toward Novice State Ranking and end of season Novice awards. Wrestlers must register online to receive points.



Awards: Top two place finishers in D1-D4 receive trophies. 3rd-4th in D1-D4 receive medals.

Top 4 finishers in NOVICE DIVISIONS receive medals.



Entry Fee: $25 Online Preregistration. Walk in Entry Fee is $25 for NOVICE and OPEN. Wrestlers may enter 2 Divisions.

Match Length:
3 -1 minute periods (Choice for 2nd & 3rd periods). 10 pt TECH FALL. OT 1 minute sudden victory if no points scored / 30 sec. tie breaker (choice to wrestler that scored first, if 0-0=flip NOVICE MATCHES = ALL RESTARTS NEUTRAL)



Rules: Modified Scholastic Rules will be used for all divisions. Tournament will be double elimination or round robin.

Tournament Director reserves the right to combine weight classes upon need.



Admission:
$5 Adult, $3 Student or $10 Family



Concessions: Will be served all day, including a full breakfast. No coolers or crockpots or carry-ins.

Terry Young from Baumpage and The OAC will be doing the bracketing!

We will be running a bout board system! This will allow the wrestlers to get use to them for their OAC Districts and State Competition.

Expecting over 300 wrestlers for this event!
