LaSalle - 41 to 22. missed on this one, was trending that way but Coach Pat did a great job reigning it in mid year. Should've known not to bet against Pat.

Steubenville - 73 to 30. Miss. They didn't play anybody but were very opportunistic and made splash plays to win games. Good job thus far.

McNicholas - 123 to 61 (loss to Bellbrook pending). I'd argue this one. They were GCLC coed favorites and just got knocked out. I like Orlando and the program but this was their year to get out of the region IMO and they didn't get close.

Fenwick - miss. coaching changes and late personnel losses due to mass transfer (which shouldn't be a concern in HS football) tell the story. They'll right the ship.

St. Xavier - Hit. Top 10, nice win knocking off 3 seed Winton Woods

Waynesville - hit. cruising thrugh their bracket. great year, how far will it go?

Bonus round: Clinton-Massie - My opinion of this overraated program is no secret. 3 losses and ousted by Indian Hill. Yikes. They've got to learn to pass the ball.

That was 3 years ago, football evolves. Take a look at an offensive guru like Cranford and look at his playbook from back at Loveland to now. Heck the install was different from my sophomore year to my senior year.

Really hit the nail on the head with Clinton Massie. In a key battle of rich vs poor, mcsurleys overrated and outdated offense failed when it mattered most. Hopefully Massie can save enough money to hire an analytics guy or staff that understands offense. Also need to get some harder teams on the schedule. Congrats on the huge upset Indian Hill!

Paper had it backwards.
But you had it correct. It was 14-6 until 7 minutes left in the game. You guys scored to go up 21-6. Then kicked an onside kick and scored again. Then tried it again. Lake turned the ball over on downs and Massillon still scored with less than a minute left. So brag about your running clock buddy with less than a minute. Then needing bush league play to do it. Whatever makes you sleep better.I have no problem with Massillon or playing them. I think it would help Lake. It would be great gate. Unfortunately stuff like what I mentioned above probably will keep that from happening.
