I am talking about today not the first game of the season.
Chicago roasted you on this one
you are advised to give up and move on
I was talking to my good friend last night (The Ref, remember him?) We were talking about how unexcited we were about the finals today. BORRRRRRING. he did bring up a few points about Judson. Did they have a bunch of early injuries or kids ineligible the first part of the season. Here are my reasons for saying the Texas 5A playoffs are the toughest in the country and not selecting the other top football states.
1. California. California doesn't have a state playoff bracket.
2. Florida. Florida has it's best teams spread over 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A making no single bracket the dominate bracket.
3. Ohio. D1 is very tough bracket and I'd say very close to Texas 5A. However I give Texas the edge because 1) Texas is more than twice as big as Ohio, 2) plays more playoff games and 3) the Ohio top bracket includes smaller schools than the Texas 5A brackets.
4. Pennsylvania. If I'm not mistaken, the top privates and top publics play in different playoff brackets.
The Texas 5A playoff brackets are the toughest in the country.
Go look at the time I posted that. It was halftime. The second half was a different story. Katy looked pretty darn good. That running back is real good. Now that is a legitimate D-1 back (tre Newton, take notes) and the QB was putting the ball on the money. He also is gonna be a big time D-1 QB (Reilly Dodge, take notes) I jumped the gun on the post about Katy. I think they are actually really good. I liked the part when the coach zipped up and got the gatorade and they got him again when he took off the jacket. Where is Dean going to school?
