Tessitore, McFarland Out of MNF Booth

Looks like the call has been made- The three-person booth will consist of Steve Levy on play-by-play along with analysts Brian Griese and Louis Riddick. Sideline reporter Lisa Salters and officiating analyst John Parry return.

Watched the game last night and thought the Levy-Griese-Riddick trio was decent. Maybe I am measuring them too much against their awful predecessors, but I thought they were good.

The whole Oakland Raider nation intro was disingenuous drivel. I sure hope someone went back and got Al Davis's wheelchair bound wife after she flipped the switch to light the Al Davis torch. I'd hate to think the old girl is still sitting up there.

Reports are that ESPN is considering using Chris Fowler and Herbstreit if the college season is cancelled or delayed.
Herbie too likely to cry if a player gets hurt too badly.......

Booger had a, boogerism, analyzing the first MNF game stating it could be a statement game for the steelers.
Week one..against a schitty team...is not a statement game.

Agree. Levy is a pro, and Riddick is the best NFL analyst at ESPN - sharp guy.

Is Booger related to someone in charge at ESPN? The guy is an Emmitt Smith level r-tard.
Dont think they will let someone of his, um, demographic, go at this time. They banish some folks, Wingo, and reassign others like Golic's, and I guess they could put booger on a tues night west coach coll FB game that no one will watch, but they wont get rid of him....

Riddick is good. I've always thought Chris Spielman is a very good analyst, but he may be a little on the dull side for some.
I really enjoyed him doing the Browns vs Washington game today. Very insightful, articulate and detail-oriented. Not flashy, which probably holds him back from better assignments, but he knows football.
