Sycamore 2008

recap

The players were even, but Sycamore's 8 coaches seemed to be the difference. Sycamore has the ability to push their soldiers to the limit. They stormed the field from the get go, and showed Columbus how to play good physical lacrosse. Heres to the Aves continuing their undefeated season.

Kosh, I was looking for a more detailed response to the game recap. Although I am humored by your lingo, I want to know who played well, how good was Jerome, etc. Also, I'm especially interested in the goalie play of Sycamore.

Kast, Krienik, etc. goalie play was the usual, which was a freakin' brick wall, yo! Not only does he stop the ball, he gets the fans pumped up! Band of brothers!

How many goals per game do you think Sycamore averages on just pure adrenaline alone? I bet it's more than half of their average. I would also say that intimidation is a key component of their 8-0 start....plus all of their military backgrounds don't hurt.

Gotta be the shoes?

Hard to fathom... A team that went 7-8 last season with wins mainly against D2 programs (Milford, Summit, Turpin, CCD, Mason) starting off 8-0...

Either the 8 coaches mentioned above or a very strong group of JV players moving up (Sycamore JV was 13-3 last season with only losses to St X and Mariemont) must be a big factor.

It's going to be exciting heading into the stretch here in Cinti. Hope I can make it out to the St X game this week- should be a great one.
