D2: Tied after six, John Glenn commits an error with the bases loaded, allowing Poland Seminary to score, winning the game, 5-4. I feel terrible for JG - that's a horrible way to lose in the states.

Lakewood & Poland Seminary will meet in the finals on Saturday at 10am.
 
Perry is hitting it's groove! Panthers up 5-0 after four innings. Go Perry! Three more innings until the finals, you can do it!!!!

wow JG puts 4 runs on gabriel and they have to win it in the 7th on a throwing error. the way lakewood hit the ball today i say that they have to be the favorites on saturday.
 
FYI - I changed the thread title to reflect games today, too.

Currently in the top of the sixth, where Grove City has now gone ahead of Lakota East, 2-0.
 
And that's how it winds up. Final score - Grove City 2, Lakota East 0.

#1 Grove City and Perry meet in the state final, tomorrow at 1pm (weather permitting). GO PANTHERS!
 
In the little school division (IV), Strasburg-Franklin has beaten New Riegel, 5-1, in the first semi. They will play the winner of the East Canton/Pleasant Hill game at 4pm tomorrow.
 
I really want GC to win but Perry seems to be on a roll and the FL has owned this title. The extra day of rest probably helps Perry, too. The Panthes are going to be tough to defeat, but hopefully, Paige Myers can get it done.
