Trent Thomas and Coen Grimm didn't get the best draw. I didn't even consider the idea that Shumate would lose the district final. Congrats to McDanel- impressive victory.

Seems that when elite wrestlers have a "soon to be rematch", winning twice in a row can be pretty tricky.

This is a tough first round for both guys> We've seen Dimmerling multiple times this year. He is tough. As is Hurley. I'll be watching for sure.

Solid chance that Cooper Shore and Eli Campbell meet up in the finals 3 weeks in a row. Shore won sectionals 4-2, then won 3-1 OT in district finals. Campbell must get through Hermes who beat him 1-0 this year, but seems like a winnable match for Campbell.

Yes that sucks.Because criblez lost there is no seeding criteria. Kolhofer and criblez would have been separated.
