Vanguard got a 22 seed. They also drew a very difficult seed on their net with Pakmen U18. There is a lot of complaining about seeding as it seems like SCVA placed more value on their points league and gave little credit to Chicago or NCVA. Here is the blog link:

As an observation Las Vegas got a great seed but got crushed by Vanguard in Chicago. HBC got a 5 seed after finishing 25th in Chicago.
There are at least 7 teams already with bids in the tourney. If they play well this could open up bid spots into mid-Silver bracket.
All indications are that the 18s bracket is stacked. Vanguard should have lots of fun.
What 7 teams have bids? I only see 6:
MVVC 18 Red (1st, North Cal)
NCVC Asics 18-1 (3rd, North Cal)
Bay to Bay 18-1 (4th, North Cal - Lakeside 18 declined)
Aspire 18 Rox (5th, Chicago)
AZ Fear 18 MS (5th, Chicago)
Yorktowne 18 Blue (2nd, Rochester)
Here are the results from each qualifier so far..

Finishing 18th sounds about right. Probably a bit higher than I would guess. I think if they play close to their potential they could finish in the 10-13 range, but I could see as low as 29-33.
Good luck to them representing Ohio and being the highest seeded team out of the Midwest or East Coast
