Now that seeds and final weight classes are out, what are your thoughts? Any predictions, what match ups are you most looking forward to? Who can you see being the state final matches if brackets align?

I haven't been through all of the seeds, but what stuck out to me is the GROWTH! From 250ish girls in 2020 in the post season to this year...WOW. I think there is somewhere around 1700 girls this year. Incredible. Congratulations to all of the coaches that have been able to put teams together and best of luck to the ladies that have endured the grind this season and will compete for that shot at wrestling in front of the big crowd at the Schottenstein Center!!!

I actually just saw a post on Twitter about this and girls wrestling post season. It said in 2020 there were 234 girls. This year it says 1,704 girls wrestling post season!!

It's pretty unreal. the 1,700 is also just post-season, that number is much higher.

The other thing to consider is how much better the technique has gotten (obviously) across the board in just six seasons.

Every year the technique gets better, making it harder to be a 4x state champ!
