Is www.swimmeet.com going to cover the other sectional meets (Northeast, Northwest, Central and Southeast), the only have the southwest on their website.

This is IUDOGS signing off.

Sectional Seeds

Should't all of the sectional seeds get posted at one time to keep others from seeing who is swimming what and making last minute switches?

Really exciting to be getting ready for the run to Canton!

I think there is a deadline as to sending them in.

Any observations about the line-ups that were recently posted, especially the ones of St. Xavier, and Toledo St. Francis.

I think that it is interesting to see St. F. loading the freestyles and pitting the Disalle brothers against each other (and Miller) in the 100.

StF strategy may be sound. Their relays should all finish 1 or 2. And they can easily get their relays to the state without stacking them in the district. They will score heavy in the 100, 200, & 400 with perhaps 3 in the top heat of the 100 & 200 and 2 in the 500. How many state titles has X won based on scoring 2, 3, & 4 swimmers in the 500? That's a ton of points. Plus StF will likely put 2 in the top heat in breast & should score 2 in the IM. Disalle should top heat in the 50. While they likely won't score in back & fly, that may not matter. No surprise to anyone, X will have its work cut out for it to repeat. But, one thing we know from the past, it always dangerous to count X out.

Any idea when the Central & Northeast psych sheets will be posted? Presumably the entries are in since the Southwest & Northwest posted pych sheets yesterday. Hope results get posted more timely.

Cincinnati Sectional

I was at the Cincinnati Sectional last night and saw the X boys dominate as expected. They were looking pretty good as I'm sure they have just started their taper.

Was also surprised by the number of fast suits worn by some swimmers. X and Fairfield seemed to be the 2 teams that were wearing their team suits where as Lakota East were all wearing pros or lzr (they could have been old ones, but still).

Times for the SW District meet are slower than seed times, but that was expected. Should be a fun meet next weekend.
