Saturday Updates (10/21/22)

Want a guess?

St. Bernard was updating their Facebok page after each of the three quarters. No updates now in over an hour. Guessing things turned against St. Bernard.

Or, it is a LONG fourth quarter.

Funny how the updates stop when the updaters Team falls behind and loses.
To be fair, they were the only ones providing any updates that I could find. That page also has plenty of updates where St.Bernard was trailing or lost.

Was that closer than it should have been?
Not really. To be honest Salem moved the ball easier than W. Branch. But the Quakers'
had some penalties that hurt them. And WB recovered two onside kicks to start the
second half. Johnson being picked twice towards the end of the game was the back-
breaker for the Quakers. It was a very exciting game that I thoroughly enjoyed. Almost forgot,
they said DeShields was injured and not 100%. That would account for some of his lackluster
runs. Johnson was a force for Salem as usual. DeShields had a huge game passing
(329 yards on 20 of 29) and he came through in the clutch.
