Roger Clemens

With Clemens being cleared of all accusations, is he now on track to go to the hall of fame? Is it too late, and has the damage been done? Seems like you are guilty until proven innocent, and in this case, he's guilty even though he was proven innocent. Thoughts?

Fair or unfair, I think too much damage has been done. Maybe down the road when this is in the distant past, but he certainly won't get in on first or second attempt.

I don't it's accurate to say he was proven innocent.

I'd never vote for him. He was washed up when Boston cut ties with him and it's pretty clear what steroids did for him.

That trial was more crooked than the Black Sox conspiracy trial in 1920, when all the guys who fixed the 1919 World Series were acquitted of criminal charges.

He'll always be mentioned in the same breath as McGwire, Sosa & Canseco; It they're not getting in, then I can't see how Roger gets in.
