I'm guessing Brunswick.I would say the West Holmes and Holy Name will probably be at Wadsworth, Barberton or cloverleaf. Definitely need a bigger stadium than cloverleaf. Home side was packed and it was standing room only
I would prefer Bellefontaine or the Hilliard schools. London having that back end of stadium facing the highway leads to some cold gamesLondon would be a better option imo, more visitor side seating than Bellefontaine. Springfield brought more fans tonight than the visitor side would hold, and I'm guessing from the crowd Marysville brought to Springfield a couple years ago they'll have a large crowd too. Either Hilliard school might work as well, longer distance, but both have ample seating.
I would hope it wouldn’t be Brunswick. That’s an hour and a half West Holmes in like a half an hour for holy name. I mean the people who make these neutral sites are stupid but that is just ridiculousI'm guessing Brunswick.
How much do you think they will bid?Massillon/Green will be at Jackson if they bid, otherwise I’d think Lake
West Branch/Ursuline could be Boardman, Fitch, or Salem, depending on who bids
They’ve put in recently. I’d think they’d want the money more than being petty over who they’re hosting. How much do you think they will bid?
Grove City would be the best venue IMO.Upper Arlington vs Pick Central: DeSales
Oh, the ironyI am gonna guess Jackson will be host.
When Byers hosts games, who gets the revenue? Parma schools?Medina Eds @ Byers (guaranteed)
Parma City Schools gets the flat fee OHSAA gives for hosting the game. Any of the supplemental revenue goes to whomever is running that stuff (i.e. concession stand, parking). When Byers hosts games, who gets the revenue? Parma schools?
I could see Wooster being in play, which would be the opposite in terms of travel between the two.I would hope it wouldn’t be Brunswick. That’s an hour and a half West Holmes in like a half an hour for holy name. I mean the people who make these neutral sites are stupid but that is just ridiculous
Wadsworth doesn't have the best parking but a really nice stadium.I could see Wooster being in play, which would be the opposite in terms of travel between the two.
If I had to guess, the crowd will likely be in the 5-7K range (maybe a little bigger). That's why I'm hoping Wadsworth decides to host. It's the true middle ground and is a better venue than Brunswick or Wooster, simply because there is no track. It seats 7,500 so right in the attendance range.
Looking up Barberton's stadium, that would be a nice one too. I have driven by it several times and thought it was more in the 5,000 range, but if it does seat 7,200, should be big enough. Like Wadsworth, no track.
Hav they ever hosted?Grove City would be the best venue IMO.
Not sure but I don’t think Newark has hosted in the past.Hav they ever hosted?
Will agree with that.Wadsworth doesn't have the best parking but a really nice stadium.
Someone mentioned Gahanna. I could see that. DeSales but not enough parking. Not sure but I don’t think Newark has hosted in the past.
Doubtful that Dover would host as they will be playing the same night, but you never know as Princeton played and hosted last night. In D4 Bloom-Carroll vs St. Clairsville I bet will be at either Zanesville, Dover or New Philadelphia.
didn’t think GC had turf?Grove City would be the best venue IMO.
No, but they just got turf this year.Hav they ever hosted?
Centerville, Fairmont, or Miamisburg would make sense for WW/Piqua. Just depends who put in for it.
