In the Pirates Cove thread, when I told the world that the Pirates are a mediocre team.

I disagree with both of you. I would much rather face the Pirates, but they are better then mediocre. Above average.

Clearly the the most favorable playoff opponent.......but that's not even close to being the same as calling the Pirates a mediocre team. They're not mediocre. They're more than 10 games better than .500. and have as many wins as the team you root for.
