In a shutout performance, the Teays Valley boys soccer team beat former MSL rival Fairfield Union 4-0.
The Vikings struck swiftly, unleashing a trio of goals within a two-minute span. Kyle Yarnell opened the scoring at 33:03, followed closely by Owen Hoffhines' strike at 32:01. Gavin Waters sealed the first-half onslaught with a goal at 31:46, sending Teays Valley into halftime with a convincing 3-0 lead. Max Spencer rounded out the scoring at 9:41 in the second half, securing the 4-0 shutout victory for the Vikings.
The Vikings' victory improves their season record to 10-2 and will travel tomorrow to play Newark for an OCC Buckeye matchup against the Wildcats, who are (2-10-1, 0-2).
