Previous State Placers missing from 2024 State

Not sure if they didn't compete due to injury or other circumstances but here's a few notable names that were missing this post-season.

7/8 still have high school eligibility left so hopefully we see them back on the mat next season.

2023 State Placers
Eve Matt (Jr.)- Jamestown Greeneview, 23: 140-1st, 22: 120-7th
Avery Wiley (Sr.)- Piqua, 23: 100-2nd
Savannah Holderby (Jr.)- Reynoldsburg, 23: 155-2nd
Brooklyn Wade (So.)- Washington C.H. Washington, 23: 235-2nd
Justine Perez (Jr.)- Dublin Scioto, 23: 100-4th
Ava Steffel (So.)- Defiance Tinora, 23: 105-8th

2022 State Placers
Gwen Matt (Jr.)- Jamestown Greenview, 22: 115-6th
Susy Castro (Jr.)- Napoleon, 22: 110-8th

There were several underclasswomen state placers from 2022 & 2023 that didn't make it out of Regionals. This could point to the fact that the weight classes are getting deeper and the quality of wrestling is getter better every year.

Side Note: I know there are some state qualifiers from 2023 that didn't qualify in 24. And there may also be some seniors that placed in 2023 that didn't qualify this year. Those lists are much harder to compile.
