Per OHSAA memo from Tyler Brooks

DI is unchanged
Central - 4 sectionals
Northwest - 1 sectional (host district w/ NE)
Northeast - 7 sectionals; Fremont Ross and Toledo St. John's from the NW will jump into one of the NE sectionals
Southwest - 4 sectionals
East and Southeast - 0 sectionals (Logan to the Central, Dover to the NE)

Division II
Central - 2 sectionals (one to the NW district, one to the SW district) ... this is a PICK UP of one sectional
Northwest - 3 sectionals (host district with 1 C)
Northeast - 4 sectionals ... this is a LOSS of one sectional
Southwest - 3 sectionals (host district with 1 C)
East - 2 sectionals (hosts district this year)
Southeast - 2 sectionals (hosts district in 2024)

Division III
Central - 2 sectionals (hosts district in 2024)
East - 2 sectionals (hosts district in 2023)
Southeast - 0 sectionals (Bainbridge Paint Valley and Williamsport Westfall to Central; Crooksville, Pomeroy Meigs, Glouster Trimble and Albany Alexander to East; Ironton and West Union to Southwest)
Southwest - 3 sectionals (hosts district with 1 NW)
Northwest - 5 sectionals
Northeast - 4 sectionals
 
 
Looks good ! Unfortunately in the Southeast we have got to get to a point where we are fielding full teams in the d3. We went from many at one time to know just teams with only a few wrestlers. There has been a big push to start programs in the SE but not support them. Truly a disservice to many of the athletes ,teams and there coaches.

So the Northeast Div 2 District goes back to being a straight bloodbath.
 
NE D2 isn't as strong as it once was. That said, I do think the NE as a self-contained district will end up being the deepest district in terms of getting to state and in terms of state performance this season (it was the deepest last year but not the strongest in terms of state performance).
