Welcome to the 1st ever Playoff prediction championship! I Figured that this would be a little more condensed than picking every single game. We all might have our knowledge about a certain region or division. Lets see who is the best overall. Here is how it will work. You will pick the final 2 teams in each region also picking a winner. You will then pick the championship game and winner. Picking the winner of the region will get you 3 points. Picking the runner-up correctly will get you 2 points. Additionally if you pick both teams correctly regardless if you picked the winner correctly you get 2 points.
If you pick the champion correctly you will get 5 points, the runner- up will get you 3 points. If you pick both teams in the final correctly regardless if you picked the winner you get 3 points.
Here is an example of D1 and the preferred format to make it easier on me.
D1-R1 St Eds over Medina
D1-R2 Marysville over Springfield
D1-R3 Upper Arlington over Pickerington Central
D1-R4 Moeller over St X.
D1 Final- Eds over Moeller
R1- So in the example lets say you were correct Eds beat Medina and the Regional Final. You get 3 points for Eds winning, 2 for picking Medina for Runner up, and 2 for getting both teams correct.
R2- Lets say Springfield beats Marysville. You get 2 points since you had both teams correct.
R3- Lets say New Albany beats Pick Central- Youd get 2 points for having Pick Central as Runner up.
R4- Lets say St X beats Princeton. You would get 0.
Lets say Eds wins it all youd get 5 for picking the champ. So for you D1 total you would have 7 for R1, 2 for R2, 2 for R3, and 0 for R4, 5 for the champ = 16 total.
I will then add up the divisions and the highest total wins! If there is a tie the person with the most correct state champions will win, if still tied runner ups.
If you pick the champion correctly you will get 5 points, the runner- up will get you 3 points. If you pick both teams in the final correctly regardless if you picked the winner you get 3 points.
