The Perry Panthers hosted the GlenOak Golden Eagles on Tuesday 8/23 at The Legends Golf Club of Massillon. Team and individual school records were broken on the East Course. Sophomore Gunnar McCollins fired a five under 31 to break his own record of four under 32 from last year. The team shot a dazzling 143 total to best The Golden Eagles by 14 shots. Other scores included Senior Jake Barth 36-E, Soph Cory Gruber 36-E and also Senior Danny Gardner with a 40. The Panthers are coached by Mr. Dan Pierce and they are back in action on 8/25 when they take on a solid Jackson Polar Bear squad again at The Legends of Massillon. Best of luck to both teams.

The Perry Panthers and Jackson Polar Bears got after it on Thursday evening with the Polar Bears coming out on top by 8 strokes. The only bright spot for the Panthers was a nice -2 34 shot by Sophomore Gunnar McCollins. The Panthers get back after on Saturday afternoon at The Cardinal Classic in Boardman Ohio playing the challenging Mill Creek Resort Championship Course. Good luck to all that are competing this weekend.
