Paul Wackerly out at GlenOak

 
GlenOak does some very very bizarre things! They will probably do something stupid like hire a Jr High coach. Shows what they think of girls sports
 
Bizarre to say the least, especially considering girls hoops starts in 4 weeks. Coach Wackerly has done nothing but win and is dedicated to the program.
 
I know there had been some upset parents, but I find it to be quite late for all of this to transpire.

Personally, I am not a fan of having the Head Coach of any sport being your Athletic Director as well. On a side note.

GlenOak has their reason for making this change, we don't always have to know it or understand it. I just hope its whats best for kids then.
 
I was kind of joking when I said GlenOak would probably hire a Jr. High coach. And the person they hired was the Jr High Coach last year. I think GlenOak is 0-3. My wife made a good point (as she likes to remind me of offen). They never would hire a Jr High coach for Football or Boys basketball.
Is the football coach coming back? Will they hire a Jr High Football coach as next Head football coach?

I would agree with you however the job became open very late and I’m sure they just needed to get someone familiar in there

well he is technically one of his own superiors, so I guess he gets a say in if he wants to come back or not. However, I do not think its necessarily the same comparison to this issue.


so far however, this late firing of Wackerly is not working out to well for the Golden Eagles. However, time will tell if they made the right move.
