PAC - 7 Football

I’ve been reading these comments for a while , what happened to you ? Did the France boys bully you? LOL
Not at all. Have a TON of respect for what Koach accomplished in his career. Also thought it was horse-crap when they gave him the State COY award his last year for finishing 2nd in the league.

Manchester should be fine for the next two weeks. The last 4 will tell us exactly who they are. I thought they'd be a bottom half team, but think I underestimated how poor the rest of the league would be this year.

Triway @ CVCA. Triway's goofy year started with 2 "meh" games. They make a jump in competition this week, but this should still be one of the better games in the league this season.

Fairless
@ Orrville. Falcons going to exorcise some demons that go back to the AOC in this one.

Loudonville @ Manchester. Loudonville hasn't score 50 points total on the season yet. If Panthers are "legit" this game should be over by halftime. Redbirds advantage - 1 of only 2 teams who don't show up at France Field and say "what's this grass stuff?"

Tuslaw @ Northwest. Both teams have 1 win and both were over bad teams. Edge to home team I guess.

  • Can CVCA’s secondary, which hasn’t been particularly tested since week 1, control the Titans passing game?
  • Can Triway compete in the trenches to get going like the first two weeks?

  • The Fairless goal: keep everyone healthy … a tune-up for next week

  • Loudonville will score
  • Manchester will score more.

  • Northwest should notch win #2

Agree on all counts. I think NW handles Tuslaw. NW 3 losses have come against 3 teams that are a combined 11-1.

I have been swinging and missing with predictions on here all season long so why not try another one! lol

CVCA over Triway, and not particularly close....
Fairless with a running clock
Manchester handles Loudonville, maybe 3 touchdown advantage (i think Loudonville is THAT bad)
Northwest by a bunch - Tuslaw looks like a cupcake compared to the teams NW has played so far...

Does anyone know if the Fairless - Orrville game will be broadcast on the radio? and if so which station?
I seriously doubt it. WQKT has Norwayne & Hillsdale so unless someone from Stark Co is going to do it, don't think so.
Orrville streamed a home soccer game against Manchester this week. Here’s their link:
Not sure if they’ve been doing home football games this year. But would recommend checking this site.
Orrville Man will be happy to watch this!

And just like we all predicted, CVCA the lone PAC team to not score this weekend . . .

Reminds me of the old NFL video "what in the world is going on out here?"
So, it’s Saturday morning, and the sun rose. So that’s the good news. In other news, I got to meet @thePITman and his wife, after following him on Twitter all these years. Has there ever been a better source for in-game PAC scores? And I can confirm they got their Skyline.

First and foremost, congratulations to the Triway Titans. CVCA had won 11 straight at home, and dropped only three games at home since 2017, before last night. The fact that the Royals lost last night was not shocking. Triway’s offense was formidable coming into the game. It’s the way the game played out that is the shocking part.

Triway dominated from the opening kickoff in every phase of the game. The Triway defense shut down CVCA like no team has done since 2016. Coach Brenner called it a signature win in The Record Leader. Assuming they take care of business, it sets up an epic game on October 15th.

CVCA is better than they showed last night. The better team won, no doubt. But the Royals will now have to circle the wagons and collectively decide what kind of effort they want to commit to the second half of this season.

Again, tip of the cap to the Titans. Good luck the rest of the way.

I saw a team last night without leadership and without emotion get drilled by a team that they should have be competitive with. That was not what we have become accustomed to seeing the last 5 or so years at CVCA. There was nothing #bluecollarboys about that performance. Hopefully they can get this fixed.

I thought at the beginning of the season it was great for Triway that they had to cancel games w/ West Holmes & Mogadore. Now looks like they might have missed out on some great points (although Knights are freakishly good).

Congrats to 'Cuse & 'Kidz for coming on and acknowledging what happened Friday night to their Royals. I got a good chuckle out of their reaction & posts after a rough loss compared to other fans who appeared to forget their login information for weeks until their team won their first game . . . (if you know, you know)

Hey RG, sometimes you got to take the highland way and run and hide for a minute. With new staff, the Panthers aren't the same- but maybe they can be?

131-47-4 … that is the record for the Syracuse Orange from the time I enrolled to the moment my first son was born over 16 seasons. Bowl games. Great moments. Lots of winning.

87-134-0 … that is the record in the 19 seasons since. Throw in two decades of Browns games.

Safe to say I’ve mastered the tough loss post routine.

On to a new week!

Nah, was just fooling. Folks that live down there have a bit too much fun when the weather is good to get caught up on message boards about high school sports. And when the weather is bad they drink. A LOT.
Too busy hanging out on Wally Rd. listening to the bluegrass festival. They do their complaining down at Beano's Ballroom.

What's on Wally Rd?
It's a 9 mile haven of campgrounds, treehouses, and festivals. I believe it's the largest collection of campgounds and recreational areas in America. They do 2 bluegrass festivals a year and an Indian Pow-Wow. Trying to get through Loudonville on a summer Saturday is quite exhiliarating. Cars, people, canoes, side by sides, amish, and anything else you can think of all over the place and most not having any clue where they are going or any concept that the truck bed full of tubes could fly out any moment.

Completely correct but you spelled HEAVEN wrong. ; )
