Other States Changes In Season Updates

Oregon moved to spring. We are taking a gamble by moving forward with fall. Best case scenario gamble pays off with minimal cancellations. Worst case scenario we get a few games in and it gets shut down and kids don’t get a real season.

I’m not even sure that best case scenario even can happen. Ohio would be lucky to get through half of the season before issues start flaring up with schools. It’s naive to think OH can realistically play fifteen weeks of football, let alone ten in the regular season, this fall.

Pennsylvania just voted to go ahead with football this fall. Start date is 9/11 for the first game.

Districts that currently will not play may have the option to play in the spring but that's entirely up for future consideration.

Also, no current plans for how the playoffs will work. There won't be any changes to classifications.
