A large portion of the countries working class has been brain washed to believe unions are a bad thing for some reason.
best example is looking at wages for a certain profession in a right to work state vs a state that isn’t right to work.
hell you cross the mason Dixon line and you see wages start to fall drastically.
states that usually back unions and have a strong union present, tend to be one of the stronger states in the Us.
if unions weren’t seen as a serious threat, the likes of Starbucks and Amazon wouldn’t spend so much money to campaign against them to stop them

Are unions the be all end all? Nope. I’m in the electrical union and I don’t hate the non union guys or think every non union shop is bad, there are a couple good non union shops in my area that treat their guys as good as the union does or better and hats off to them but there are a lot who mistreat and underpay their guys. You go to areas that have extremely high union market share and those guys make great money. Hell union elections in Cleveland union electrical works make around $41/hr and in 2-3yrs will be pushing near $50/hr.
Best part that is with the contractor covering your benefits and retirement
