Biased Vote

Have a vote on an Ohio board and what do you think you will get. Colerain and X together have 3 state titles in the last 10 years (or 100 years for that matter) Neither one could be called a dynasty at this point although X could very well be headed there with a few more in the next 5 years. Neither one compares to the runs AND titles that DLS, SLC, Charlotte and a few others have had. Facts are facts. Wins are nice. Titles are defining.
 
I will agree that DLS and SLC should be the top 2 but of course X and Colerain got ranked too high on the dynasty list since it is an Ohio board.

Consumer:

X is overrated in this dynasty poll but they were a legitimate top 5 team in the country this year.

I would agree that X should be in the discussion and perhaps win if you are discussing '07.

I don't know too many that would include DLS as far as the past five years considering some of the other teams on this list.

MS still not getting any love.

I did not vote for DLS
 
I think it is an Ohio poll and that tips the interpretation of "dynasty" to favor local teams... Independence is a much better dynasty than X by some definition... but if we are to project national dynasties, perhaps that isn't quite the case. I think many base their dynasty vote on consistency against national programs and other dynasties... and from this perspective, X is legit...

wins (or favorable record) against Dematha, Trinity (they are qualified), Colerain, OT vs untouched Lakeland in down year of X's dynasty, Byrnes, Independence, and Hoover were ousted by X opponents that X beat convincingly... Few dynasties have had the opportunity to prove what X has, and few have had the opportunity to lose to such hi caliber teams either... I think X qualifies on SOS, because without it, who's to say they wouldn't have a streak just as impressive as the best listed... On another note, X's dynasty looks like it's in the best position to continue... Hoover, Colerain, Lakeland, SLC, and Warren Central to name a few have uncertain futures...

Terribly sorry, but did you miss where Colerain and X return basically the same amount of starters from last year? That's like 3...

Why do you say that about SLC?

SLC has as many starters coming back as they usually do. They have a great Jr QB and a Soph RB who both looked good. Plus, due to the large number of injuries in 2007 more underclassmen got significant playing time last year than normal. Lastly, many people close to the SLC program feel that the Soph class (Jrs next year) is the strongest SLC has ever had.

SLC has lost 3 games over the last six years by a combined total of 10 points. The pipeline is as strong as ever. I don't see SLC going away any time soon.

How in the heck is DLS so high in the last FIVE years? 2003-2007 DLS should be below many teams, Lakeland included.

Now, 1982-present, there's no argument. It's DLS.

But, the ast five years, DLS shjould be below several teams.

But they will not be bringing home any titles for awhile. Bet on it. This comes from the "ref" Remember he exposed you before MNW did.
