As I'm sure many of you have seen by now, OHWAY will be hosting their youth AND all age girls state weekend on March 20-21 and JH/HS and novice weekend on March 27-28 in Marion, OH!

There is no qualification this year, however brackets will have a maximum of 32 wrestlers in them. Once that number is reached, the weight is full. For more information on the schedule please visit www.ohiowaywrestling.com

In order to register, you must register on trackwrestling AND pay at www.ohiowaywrestling.com/tickets
You can buy your admission at that link as well. We are able to allow 4 (four) spectators per wrestler each weekend.

To those high school wrestlers who made it to STATE next weekend, CONGRATS! To everyone else, get some great mat time these next couple of weeks before you hang it up for the year! #earnyoureagle at OHWAY State! All ages K-12 men's and women's wrestling opportunities right in the heart of Ohio at the Marion Coliseum! Register on trackwrestling and pay at www.ohiowaywrestling.com/tickets We will allow 4 spectators per wrestler at this point in time based on the Governor's newest health directive. If that changes we will let you know!

1. Masks must be worn by EVERYONE not actively wrestling or officiating. No exceptions.
2. No tickets will be sold at the door. You must buy your tix at www.ohiowaywrestling.com/tickets
3. Only 2 people will be permitted to be in the corner of each wrestler. Only those who purchase coaching bands will be permitted on the floor.
4. We are limiting spectators to 4 (four) per wrestler.
5. You must register on track AND pay at www.ohiowaywrestling.com to be considered confirmed and not lose your spot on the bracket. This must be done by Thursday.
6. For weigh ins you'll want to park and enter on the west side of the building. For competition, you'll enter through the front doors only.
7. I'd you have any questions not addressed here or in previous posts, please reach out to us on here or email Jamie (ohioway.secretary@gmail.com) or Joella (ohioway.membership@gmail.com) and we will try to answer your questions in a timely manner.
8. Wrestling begins for D2 and all girls divisions (not novice) on Saturday at 8 AM.
D4 is Saturday afternoon at 2 PM.
D3 begins at 9 AM Sunday.
D1 is at 2 PM Sunday.
9. D2 and D4 and girl wrestlers may ONLY weigh in Friday, either fast pass (12-1 PM and $20 cash payable at weigh ins) OR from 6-7 PM (normal weigh ins, no cost.)
D1 and D3 wrestlers may ONLY weigh ins Saturday, either fast pass (12-1 PM and $20 cash payable at weigh ins) OR from 6-7 PM (normal weigh in, no cost.)
10. Please leave enough time when you get to the venue to get your temperature checked. The check in process will take a bit longer than usual due to temp checks. Everyone must have their temperature checked prior to entering the venue.

We appreciate your cooperation and support during these challenging times, please help us allow our future high school stars the opportunity to compete by following our rules and the wishes of the health department. Safe travels to everyone coming in this weekend, we look forward to seeing you!

REMINDER- tomorrow, Thursday March 18th is the LAST day to register for OHWAY State in D1-4 and girls. JH/HS, and novice are still able to register until 3/25 OR their bracket reaches 32. If you need any assistance, contact Randy Hartman at ohioway.director@gmail.com See you all soon!
 
Reminder! Fast Pass weigh ins for D2, D4, and non novice girls will take place from 12-1 PM this afternoon at the Coliseum. Cost is $20 payable at weigh ins. These same divisions can also weigh in tonight from 6-7 PM. Enter west side of Coliseum and come to the back area of the venue.
 
Attention those considering NOVICE State this weekend! We are getting a great surge in novice registrations yesterday and today, both girls and boys. If you're considering novice, it will be worth your time to come out and wrestle! You are eligible for novice if you have NOT placed at OHWAY or oac state.
 
High School, Junior High, and novice wrestlers! Only 36 hours left to register for STATE this weekend! Some weight classes may reach capacity (32 wrestlers) before our registration deadline, secure your spot, don't get left out! See you this weekend!

LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP! Due to a trackwrestling glitch last night, we have extended registration until 11 AM today. Also remember fast pass weigh ins are 12-1 PM, and you can take advantage of those whether you wrestle Saturday or Sunday! Cost for that is $20 cash only payable at weigh ins.
