I would like people to mention what swimmers from Ohio high schools will be swimming at the Olympic Trials in a couple of weeks. These swimmers should be recognized for their great accomplishment, and all people associated with Ohio high school swimming should be rooting for all of them to swim their best times.

From Toledo St. Francis, 4 swimmers will be in Omaha. Mike DiSalle will be swimming the 100 and 200 freestyle, Rowan Williams will be swimming the 200 back. Both of these young men have recently completed their first year at The Ohio State University. DJ MacDonald will be swimming the 100 and 200 breaststroke. DJ will be attending The Ohio State University this fall. Roman Willets will be swimming the 100 and 200 freestyle. Roman just completed his junior year at the University of Michigan.

Congrats to these very fine young men and good luck.

Megan Brunn from Mansfield Senior and Miami University qualified in the 100 breast. Not sure if she will be competing or not.

Looking over the psych sheets for the Olympic Trials it appears that there are a number of Ohio swimmers at the trials. Others not named above are Kyle Ransom, Andrew Brower, Alex Miller, David Mosko, Matt Columbus, Brock Turner, Patrick Mulcare, Cliff Goertemiller, Brett Mackenzie, Jack Polhman, Josh Quallen, Garrett Treblicock, Brent Hitchcock, Michael Gaudiani, & Dimitry Dolgov.

Adam Ritter (9), Elliot Keefer (5) and David Mosko (8) are in the top 10 in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 fly respectively.

Impressive showing by the Ohio swimmers, although all look like longshots to make the team. The best chances seem to be for Keefer & Ritter. Good luck to all!!!!
