12-4 Evergreen @ 4-13 Edon
14-2 Emmanuel Christian @ 11-5 Liberty Center
11-5 Wauseon @ 7-9 Northview

Looking at some of the RPI standings and projecting how teams will end up before the tournament draw:
Archbold: W Swanton L Napoleon still finish 2nd
Bryan: L Evergreen L Celina 8 seed in a bad district
Delta: W Hilltop L Wauseon finish 5th-could get jumped by Eastwood
Evergreen: W Edon W Bryan finish 3rd
Liberty Center: L Emmanuel edge W over PH Toss up with Scott. Still finish 4th, not having a strength of schedule factor like MartinRPI hurts them
Patrick Henry: toss up L to LC W Holgate 5 seed and will be a tough out for a higher seed in the sectional finals
Swanton: L Archbold W Northwood 11 seed small chance to jump to the 10 if Fairview goes 0-2 this weekend
Wauseon: L Northview(close) W Delta W Anthony Wayne(close) Top seed in a historically bad district

Games after Friday (2/9) don't count for seeding purposes. Will be "frozen" at 11:59 pm on Friday for the draw.

Martin does not use a strength of schedule for his RPI. He uses a size of school factor. His D3 Napoleon District currently has 1) Emmanuel, 2) Archbold, 3) Evergreen, 4) LC, and 5)Eastwood.

NWOAL needs to go to a home and home for volleyball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, baseball and softball to create separation in the league standings.

I don't see a problem with multiple schools sharing the conference championship. With a home and home league schedule you'd only have a few non-league games which could potentially eliminate some of the traditional rivalry games.

A few? You’d have 8 non-league games still.

The NLL and NBC both use double round robin in all of those sports except soccer. Basketball used to only have 20 game seasons so there were only 6 non-conference games too. Really odd to me the NWOAL only plays home or road in these sports every year. Especially weird in a sport like baseball, one pitcher could damn near win you a league title.

Congrats go out to Archbold, LC, and Wauseon as cochampions.
Looking at the preseason vote, we didn't do very well. Archbold had 4 of the 12 votes to win the league. LC had 1 and Wauseon had 0.
Thats back to back titles for Wauseon. I really didn't see either one of those coming.
It would have been interesting to see how it would have played out if PH had stayed healthy this year.
Player of the year could be a close vote. I would think it would be between Brenner from Archbold and Rodriguez from Wauseon.

Brenner. Avg 3.5 more ppg and beat Wauseon twice.

Brenner has had a great season and was the Player of the Year last year also. That might give him the edge.
Rodriguez averaged over 2 more assists and played a much tougher schedule. I feel like Rodriguez did more with less also.
It would be hard to argue with the vote either way I think.

Good choices. Very good talent in the league this year. I'm a little surprised to see only one Wauseon player on the list.
