LCC didn’t fall off because they were no longer in the NWC. They fell off because Mike Fell and Quincey Simpson got hired at Lima Senior. As long as Senior is winning football and basketball games LCC will not get the athletes that they had at the height of their first NWC run
 
All of this bickering about LCC is distracting from the fact that wishbone picked Grove, who has lost 3 NWC games since 2017 by a combined 12 points, with Trenton Barraza - by far the best football player in the conference - to finish 3rd next year.

I want to find out what this guy’s smoking because it sounds incredible

A whole lot can change in 4 years. Especially with 8 man football and schools shifting in enrollment patterns. 4 years ago Paulding and Ada were still NWC members, Spencerville was the 3-time defending league champ, Wes Schroeder had Allen East looking like they were going to take over the NWC, and the BVC still had LB, Vanlue, Cory-Rawson, North Baltimore, and Leipsic.

And that my friends is why they were booted last time. A lot can change but I am okay with them being back here in the league and I think adding the competition will be good for the league. I don't think we will be in a position to kick anyone out based on our number of existing schools in 4 years. I think the worst thing we can do is try to find a school that is just bad and bring them in. There is no benefit to our league for this and they will maintain no loyalty and could turn around and leave.

Whatever it is I think mankind could benefit from smoking this stuff. I don't think he can sit in front of the keyboard and help himself. Just some of my favorite ones 1a vs 1b, 1st place next year, unstoppable plays and the amazing freshman class.
 
😆, we lost by a score in both games, and I need committed because I think Bluffton gets them next year? We have a pretty good player coming back also, next year (on both sides of the ball) , and I laid out key losses for Grove and key returners for Bluffton. It's not like I'm a Spencerville fan saying we are gonna win the league next year, we were in the regional finals this year,,,finished 12-2, but to say something like I think Bluffton pulls it off next year, and I think LCC also catches Grove is just the dumbest thing to ever be said,,you guys are a joke. Doesn't Grove have some community platform you can all talk on so you don't have to hear anyone have a different opinion.

Allen East freshman squad was pretty good this past year and a few definitely will be contributing as sophomores. If not 2024, 2025 AE should be battling for top spot again.
Anyone know why DJ & DSJ got away from their week one match up?

No one criticizes people on here for supporting and talking up their own team. The general consensus in this thread is that Bluffton should stay towards the top of the league. You get rightfully called out because you can’t go more than 1 post without spewing some idiotic crap about Grove. Everything you have said about Grove in the last 2 years has turned out to be false, yet you can’t make a single post about your own team without mentioning ours. It’s like Grove Derangement Syndrome. Almost like you have a deep personal connection to Grove that’s eating at you…
 
Bluffton will get grove next year in football
Bluffton will get Grove at the conference in track
Bluffton will get Grove at the district
Bluffton will get Grove at the regional
Bluffton will get Grove at state

My question is does Bluffton ever get Grove?

Let’s say the current HN coach was not very well received by the other schools in the NWC. And when LCC was more or less booted (for the record they left on their own) from the NWC, this particular coach was a big part of the problem

He was also already a head coach in the NWC and pushed hard for them to be added to the league, then went there to coach after they were brought in.
 
I did not know that. Once again, I'm glad they are back because they will make us better. I wish Leipsic was still here also. We have a good league and confident it will stay that way. Go Dogs.

Isn’t Allen East the last team to win the NWC (besides Grove) and play for 2 regional championships, all after Schroeder?

Not trying to discredit what they've done lately, I just think their trajectory in the short time Schroeder was there had a higher ceiling than what they've done since he left. Plus we're now 4 seasons removed from Schroeder at Allen East and they're still running the exact same offense that he introduced there.
