Looks like we got enough people to go for round two. If we could have everybody's spreads in by Wednesdays by 11:59PM and picks in by game time on Fridays it would be appreciated. Also, I'm going to be on a road trip during week one. I should be able to get the spreads locked in for week one, but standings and setting up the week two games might have to wait till that Wednesday morning unless somebody wants to take the reins for a partial week.

Fostoria (+5.5) at Van Buren- tough call but have a gut feeling
Archbold (+1.5) at Genoa- both good teams, but Archbold a little "salty" they are picked 3rd in Nwoal
Leipsic (-5) at Lake- Lake will be improved, but Leipsic is good
Springfield (-0.5) at Maumee- tough call, but have seen maumee past couple of years and don't think they could improve that much, may be wrong
Bowsher (+39.5) at Oak Harbor- Christmas tree colored uniforms can name their score
Otsego (-6) at Bowling Green- Otsego will be real good, especially on def.
Northwood (+9) at Rossford- have a feeling Rossford is on a down slide....

Ottawa-Glandorf (-3.5) at Eastwood - Give me the eagles with the points. Should be an interesting one.
Fostoria (+5.5) at Van Buren - Same idea, not sure Fostoria wins but I think they can cover.
Archbold (+1.5) at Genoa - I’ll take Archbold and there talented senior class in this one.
Leipsic (-5) at Lake - I just don’t think Lake will be that bad again. Usually have some good athletes and size, maybe enough to pull this out.
Springfield (-0.5) at Maumee - If Maumee can hold up in the trenches I think they’ll make enough big plays to get by the blue devils.
Bowsher (+39.5) at Oak Harbor - Something like 49-7 feels right.
Otsego (-6) at Bowling Green - BG lost a lot from last year and Otsego brings a lot back, should be a good opener for the Knights.
Northwood (+9) at Rossford - I think Rossford will be down but Northwood lost 2 asst. coaches to HC jobs and has struggled the last 2 years. Give me the bulldogs by 10-14 pts
 
Week One picks:

I get that Eastwood is running new schemes with new coaches, but I just don’t see OG rebounding right out of the gate after a 1-9 season last year. I’ll take the Eagles.
Fostoria (+5.5) at Van Buren
Upset special? I don’t think either team is good. Look for Fostoria to be 1-0 headed into week 2.
Archbold (+1.5) at Genoa
I really like Genoa this year and think they could make a run at the league. Their qb is probably the best in the league. That said, Archbold takes it in a physical week 1 game.
Leipsic (-5) at Lake
It’s going to be another tough year for Lake. Leipsic.
Springfield (-0.5) at Maumee
This one is interesting to me. Does Maumee have what it takes to turn it around? I don’t think so I’m week 1 of year 1.
Bowsher (+39.5) at Oak Harbor
This will depend on when OH calls the dogs off. I think their JV will keep putting up points as the night rolls on and they win by 40+.
Otsego (-6) at Bowling Green
I’m interested to see how Otsego’s defense matches up to BGs offense upfront. Year two in an offense that returns a lot, Otsego rolls.
Northwood (+9) at Rossford
I hate this pick because Rossford is notorious for not playing defense.

I think Elmwood has gone back to being Elmwood. I might be wrong, but I don’t think Evergreen has turned it around. While I don’t think the win over OG is as big as some made it out to be for Eastwood, they’re still a top team in the league. They name their score.

Fostoria (+28) vs. Bowling Green
Hard to get a read on BG. However, Fostoria didn’t do enough against VB to make me believe this will be close.
Genoa (-39.5) @ Bowsher
Genoa names their score coming off a tough opening loss.
Lake (-8.5) @ Northwood
I think it’ll be close, but how is Lake favored by over a TD? I heard Northwood has a DI QB… 🤣
Maumee (+7.5) vs. Bryan
I guess we will get a good gauge in Maumee here. My gut tells me Bryan bounces back by a multi touchdown margin.
Oak Harbor (-47) @ Woodward
Woodward gave up 80 points last week. Ouch. This is going to depend on how long OH waits to put in the JV.
Otsego (+5.5) vs. Tinora
I don’t know how good BG is or if Otsego’s defense is just that bad. I do know that Tinora played LC tough and will be a very physical match up this year.
Rossford (+11) @ Port Clinton
Maybe one day Rossford will play defense. I don’t think their offense is as good as it has been the last few years. That together is bad news for the bulldogs.

Everyone is laughing it up but when mielke is invited to the Wendy's high school heisman and accepts the dave thomas trophy, I hope all you doubters apologize. I could honestly see northwood winning this week and turning that into a winning streek that extends into around thanksgiving.
