Game talk is on the other thread. But the batter called timeout and Cueto stopped in mid-delivery. Started grimacing in the core/back area a few pitches later and taken out after 8 pitches.

Farking Angel Pagan called timeout late and Cueto held on to the ball and hurt his back.

Angel Pagan has to be one of the worst umps in baseball. Why? Because I know his name. Never a good thing when you know umpires names.

The ump did not call time out. Cueto just didn't throw the pitch because he saw the batter step out. If he would have thrown the ball it would have counted.
