NFL Draft News

Haskins was put in an awful position. He needs to stay patient, learn and progress. I think he will get one more shot and hopefully he takes advantage of it. Fields will be the beginning of a new era for Buckeye QB's in the NFL as long as Day stays in C-Bus. He should have a fine career barring injuries.

Report from ESPN, Aaron Rodgers wants out of GB. That could cause some big waves tonight.

Wow, what's the value of a 37 year old QB that could put you over the top? 3rd pick in the draft?
Lost respect for him when he didn’t run the ball and instead threw it in the playoff game.

He’s over the hill.

Of course, he’s also 37, so I probably wouldn’t have run either.

Sounds like Rodgers wants out of GB according to Schefter and Mortensen. Must want to not freeze his @$$ off and be closer to his actress girlfriend.

Although I grew up in Cleveland, I haven's been there in decades. Where exactly was the draft held? Downtown? RocknRoll HoF?

Basically an open area of the Port just behind the stadium, next to the docked Mather. Weather was beyond crappy last night and while not wet it will be cold tonight with winds from the north coming over a lake that is currently only 44 degrees.

Every draft has a lasting image, the best is still Larry Tunsil's weed gas mask; this year it is Zac Wilson's mom. You can see where he gets his good looks from but the best thing was the the jaguar skin coat she was sporting. In 2021 not too many folks wear fur in such a public place let alone one that over the top.

This was my favorite from last year.

Here is a video of the structure that was built. Some are advocating keeping it up after the draft is over for concerts, etc. being next to the Rock Hall, it might not be a bad idea. another thing that was cool was that the Terminal Tower was lit in the colors of the team that was on the clock and the logo was projected onto the side facing Public Square. The picture on cleveland.com shows the tower in read and gold and the SF logo on the side, indicating that the 49ers were on the clock.

That's why I live in Arizona. 86 right now.

I’m noticing most of these fans in garish costumes sitting in the blocks reserved for each team are mostly old. I’m wondering if these “fans” didn’t pay/donate a decent sum of cash to be there? I never saw that Browns Macho Man guy before and he got a spot on the stage.

If the Macho Man guy has been this loyal to the expansion Browns train wreck prior to last year, he earned a spot on the draft stage.

He's been around for many years. He sits in the lower end zone by my fellow season ticket holder friends. We've all been there through the 0-16 and 1-15 years

Yeah, I see he’s been around and paid his dues. Never noticed him before, I guess. I usually sit high up when I’m there, though.

Being a Vikings season ticket holder is a totally different experience. There are some “superfans”, but you never see the out of your mind passion you see from Browns fans. It’s a loyal, but more laid back fan base. I remember moments of disappointment in Minny where the fans weren’t happy, but they just kind of accepted defeat. Browns fans would be ripping the place apart and dropping f-bombs at a machine gun rate - haha

Had season tix to the Steelers for about 6-8 years and had been going since the mid 90s. Their super fans seemed to subsided a bit when they went to the new stadium. Much more tame atmosphere
