I honestly think they were worried about the conditions and integrity of the match. If rain they would have cancelled and moved in doors but if nice and sunny yet windy there would be pressure to play and you would hate to have an important match possibly decided by some weird gust of wind that blows a ball off course. Sand players are trained and can account for this, also they switch sides after so many points and not just at set breaks. Not all indoor players have played out doors either, just would not be fair.Been reading about this and think it is awesome for the sport. Just wish they would of gotten a bigger name team to play. I know Omaha is an in-state team but why not have another powerhouse for this event?
Probably not much, I think most tickets were of value because they were shooting for the attendance record and were just looking to break even for the cost of playing in the stadium. What did they charge for the top 5 row tickets?
