Boston University was the No. 1 overall seed. The other No. 1 seeds, in order, included Notre Dame, Denver and Michigan.

It is nice that every game is televised. I'm gonna get alot of Hockey in this weekend on one TV while the other TV will have the NCAA basketball tourney going on......

Hopefully it rains this weekend which gives me the excuse to do just that!!!!!

Yale is a team to be concerend about and they will give Michigan fits, but I think UM will make it to the Frozen four

Denver should make it easily

Notre Dame over Cornell

The NE is stacked, I wouldn't be surprised if BU doesn't come out but I'll go with the favored. ND as the darkhorse.
 
What a first day for the tourney, 3 games and 3 upsets.

The biggest. Air Force over Michigan, followed by Vermont over Yale, and then Miami over Denver.

Currently Princeton is upsetting Duluth 3-2 in the 2nd.......things are being turned upside down!!!!
 
Duluth trailed 4-2 with 40 seconds, they scored with 39 seconds left and tied it up with 0.8 left.....they went on to win in overtime.....

Air force, Vermont, Miami, and Duluth advance to the 2nd round.

Will more upsets occur in today's first round games!!!!
 
Game 1 is turning into a classic today.....

with 0.1 second left, New Hampshire has just tied the game at 5 with North Dakota.....overtime to come!!!!! I'm sure it will be under review but it looks like a good goal.....

New Hampshire scores 45 seconds into the overtime to win 6-5, they were trailing 5-3 after two. Another upset, that makes 4 of the first 5 games....

Another dandy in game two. Trailing 2-1 to Northeastern, Cornell ties it at 3:57 and gets the game winner with 17 seconds to left as another higher seed defeats a lower seed.

5 upsets in 6 games.....

OSU trails 3-0 early to Boston U. ... no upset in the making here.

Their is a long delay in the 2nd overtime.....

A phantom goal may have been scored by Vermont 6 minutes ago, it is under review.

Play continued for an additional 6 1/2 minutes untill stoppage. Their may have been a hole in the net where the puck entered and left the goal.....lol.....

I think it is a goal, but their is no hole in the net.....??? This will be interesting if they can ever decide it....the delay continues!!!!
