This should be another classic between these two Friday. Happy this game is at lake. Expecting a huge crowd. Thoughts?
 
 
A lot of Lake fans on here seem to be a bit down on the Blue Streaks this year but their resume isn't exactly horrible. But for one point in the McK/Green game this would be the battle of the two first place teams in the Fed. So this game does make me a bit nervous.

That said, I do not think Lake matches up well with Jackson. Their offense is liable to get tired and they have injury problems. They're going to need a lot of help from their secondary. I'm going to guess 28-14 in favor of the Polar Bears.

Coming off a 12-2 year, people have expectations. Lake is tough and pretty physical on defense. Definitely getting healthier. Offense still have some kinks but seem to be turning the corner. Lakes d line and linebackers need to make Jackson’s qb uncomfortable. Fortunately for lake that is the strength of this team. Can’t wait.

I do not know the injury situation, so how is Lake offensively? Jackson in the defensive sense seems to be quick but still prone to breakdown. Great DB/LB play for sure, but it's not like they can't be had.

Like Wrestling245 said Lake’s front 7 on Def will be the difference. Lake’s senior class has owned the Polar Bears for as long as I’ve been watching them play each other. I don’t expect it to be much different this year.

I know Louisville didn’t put up much a fight, but I loved what Lake did on Offense this week. Quick tempo, a solid mix between the run and pass. Nate Baker lined up in a variety of positions and played more CB on Defense.

All a recipe for success this week.
 
Should be a good one! I haven't seen much of Lake this year so I don't entirely know what to expect from them, Go Bears!

I've thought about it a little more and my prediction for the game (as always biased), is 24-21 Jackson, I think Jacksons offense is more explosive and they pull ahead after struggling most of the game late, as always Lake is a good team! Can't wait to be there Friday!

The stats lie? Green had about 100 more total yards than Jackson and were in the red zone many times without scoring.

Where is your information from beause Jackson failed to convert near the end zone a lot more than Green, Green just put together decent drives that would stall out around the 50, Jackson either had 3 and outs or drives the length of the field, no in-between. Green had a lot of in-between.

This will the first real test for Lake this year. Jackson is solid and has given Lake fits the last few years with the exception of last years game. This is Lakes homecoming game and I hope Jackson does not spoil it this year! If Lakes offense continues to play well they can win this one as Lakes defense is playing lights out.. If the offense sputters with no creative play calling as in many games this year Jackson will win.

You’re 100%.. the key to this game is if the creative play calling continues from last week. They did a very good job with up tempo and reading what the defense is giving us, then going from there. They will need that against Jackson.

On point here. As a Jackson fan, I'll add I hate ruining people's homecoming/senior night lol, I just imagine that being us. On a more serious note, should be a good game, Go Bears!
 
Smoove has to admit that SMoove sees both sides of the quarter here. Stats can lie, but the scoreboard never lies! Turnovers are usually the great equalizer. Giving someone a short field allows easy scoring without much time of possession and yards. Regardless, Smoove is not going to sit here and get in the stream of that uriniation match between Canton Kid and jpbear. Seems as if they both have pretty solidly strong streams!!!

Tha Bank used to go by the hottest cheerleading staff. Smoove is not going there, though. SMoove is a dirty ol' man, but Smoove doesn't get around to see much anymore, so Smoove is going to place his prediction on the hottest mommies in the concession stand.

LAKE WINS!!!!! Smoove saw them in a scrimmage and the concession WOMEN made Smoove blush with how nice they were to Smoove. Smoove offered some Mooves on many of the ladies, and while they were ALL willing, Smoove noticed rings on all of their fingers, and Smoove does not go that way, y'all.
