IVC 2025

Hiland is always good and will be again this year. What other IVC teams have the potential to have some good seasons and make some noise in the post season?

Indian Valley is typically solid, should have Ryker Williams back after missing last season due to injury I believe?
Strasburg gave the Hawks a scare in the District final last year and have some good players back.
Garaway would be another dark horse in the IVC.

Looking at the teams seems like this season is going to be very competitive, as there should be multiple good teams. Sandy valley lost Petro, which is a big loss for them. Are there any other players that graduated that might make a big difference in teams this year? Seems like alot of teams have everyone back. I know claymont lost the Poland kid. Ridgewood has everyone returning form last year. I believe Indian valley returns just about everyone from last year too.

Last years North Champ Buckeye Trail loses the North POY Braden Williams.
Strasburg also loses some talent (Burkett/Rissler/McKenzie), but with Lancaster and Dugan back I think they should be the team to beat in the North.
Garaway lost a pretty good crop of seniors (Misko/Keller/Amicone/Beachy/Kimble). Hiland did as well (Cody Yoder/Brady Yoder) but they have plenty returning.
I think if someone's going to challenge the Hawks in the South it would have to be IV or potentially TV. Losing Petro is definitely going to be tough for SV.
Garaway has a good crop of young talent moving through the lower levels of the program. Might be a year or two away but they're a team to watch.

Like you said, Ridgewood for the most part has everyone back and McQueen is a legit player. Might still be a year away from serious contention though, that Jr class is pretty solid.

Preseason coaches poll dropped this morning, 3 IVC schools listed.
Hiland D6 #1
Garaway D6 #26
Strasburg D7 #4

Just saw on social media, the Hiland vs Claymont game today is moved to Hiland at 5:30. Assuming that means the Wednesday game is now at Claymont.

I just look at dragon fly website, unless they haven't changed it yet, that both games will be at Hiland

Post your ivc scores for the first day of league play:
Hiland beat claymont 17-0
Indian valley beat Ridgewood 3-1
Tusky valley beat sandy valley 3-1

Well early season so far shows Hiland is by far top dog in the IVC. Far ahead of everyone else. Then all the other IVC south teams are all pretty equal and will be battling each other all season to see where they fall.

The Hawks are very lucky to have a really nice turf baseball field now, with the help of the community support

What a shame,it doesn't look like the Hiland vs Waynedale game is going to be played this season, so far neither team has a open spot on there schedule as of now,to play this game,as it was scheduled for early April but the weather cancelled it,it was supposed to be made up the first of May but that must of fell through

Hiland’s game against the best team in the state of WV (just ask them) tomorrow looks like it might get washed out..I was really looking forward to this one. Looks like WCC dodged Grove City because of rain on 4/5 and will dodge Hiland.

Maxpreps has a current write up that Hiland lost to Waynedale 25-24 last night?!?! I saw wklm YouTube had the wh/new Phila game slated instead in any case.

I’m assuming this is an example of AI gone wrong?

Yeah, Hiland and Waynedale have not played this year.

unless they both drop someone else on there schedule, this game won't get played, was really looking forward to this game, they both have a decent chance to get to the final 4, I just know one glaring stat that worries me about this Hiland team this year, they have a total of 23 errors in 15 games , which averages around 1.5 a game
