Tom Kaufman from Gilmour Academy has resigned - rumor is he will be taking a similar job at an OAC school in the coming days/weeks.
 
Springfield Catholic Central has named their new coach. He will be introduced at the basketball game this Friday night. He is Ryan West a graduate of Wittenberg and currently an assistant and teacher at Little Miami.

He was one of the two, already on staff they wanted from the start but interviewed poorly. Those that bullied are getting their wish. He got hired and the others involved are going to be on his staff. What a great way to run a program. Who do you blame when you go 2-8 again. Note that the levy issues are not helping the situation.

Sources close to the program. Can only speculate as to why. One source said Louis forced Chenult to resign. The other theory is Chenults uncle took the Mt. Healthy job and he relied heavily on him for help. My personal theory is he was looking around the weight room and thought we might be worse next season and bolted. I know a few parents took to Facebook after the season to bash the guy. Sounds like we gave him very little support. Honestly we could hire Nick Saban and he would go 1-9 with our talent pool or lack thereof.

This is exactly what happened. I spoke with someone who was on the hiring committee and has close ties to the school, he told me they are causing a big uproar over it because they were overlooked and didn't hire local. They went 2-8, see ya.. pull your kid. The other problem is if they don't pass a levy, how do bring in someone to a position where you would be letting 30 staff members go, but hiring an outside coach with no job in the school? It is a big mess in Monarch Country.

Marysville just posted about handful of jobs on ODE, a couple of intervention specialist jobs, you can hire teachers certified in other areas for that position on alternative licensures.
