I've been told that Jerry Cooper is the new coach at Hardin Northern, I've got no actual sources to confirm that other than the rumor mill

From my knowledge, John Puckett hasn't been the Football Coach at Butler since the COVID year. He left to go back to Centerville to be the Defensive Coordinator. Then Cates took over to be the HFC in 2021
 
Hearing there is SIGNIFICANT interest at Vandalia-Butler today for the Head Football Coaching Vacancy. Job has been posted and already 8 applicants have applied for the job. Hearing the names of Ryan Pelfrey (Former Assistant), Derek Shellanbager (Former Assistant, Current OC @ Stebbins), Chris Shaneyfelt (Flyght Prep OC), and a few others. Should be some highly qualified candidates apply. We'll see what route the AD over there wants to go for. A sleeper to watch out for: Trent Dues, current Head Baseball Coach at the school and former Varsity Football Assistant for 12 years. He's almost to retirement & it would be an easy interim fill in at the school!

I've heard very similar references from others and I don't doubt it. But Pleasant isn't getting the Marion-area best to come there anymore either and are the small fish in their league. It's going to be a challenging job.

They still have big open enrollment numbers but River Valley, North Union, and Buckeye Valley are bigger open enroll draws than they were years ago, so that may have something to do with it.

3. Lima Shawnee (Division III) is now looking for a new Head Football Coach to replace Coach Jerry Cooper.
4. Bill Lawrence is replacing Coach Alphonso Townsend as the new Head Football Coach at Lima Senior (Division II).
5. Derek Fisher is replacing Coach Corey Fickiesen as the new Head Football Coach at Greenwich South Central (Division VII).
6. Nicholas Bandstra is replacing Coach Ryan Hudelson as the new Head Football Coach at Bradford (Division VII).
7. Jerry Cooper is replacing Coach Travis Rettig as the new Head Football Coach at Dole Hardin Northern (Division VII).
8. Dylan Wears is replacing Coach Heath Hinton as the new Head Football Coach at Chillicothe Zane Trace (Division V).
9. Doug Miller is replacing Coach Shane Wellman as the new Head Football Coach at Frankfurt Adena (Division VI).

Varsity Head Football Coach
Oberlin High School
Oberlin High School in Lorain County is looking for a Head Varsity Football Coach. Candidates must have a previous successful high school or college experience coaching. The head coach must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to build a program at all levels. The head coach will oversee all phases of the football program including, but not limited to, player development, monitoring academic success, staff development and mentoring, college recruiting process, community relations, youth football league, and equipment inventory.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to the team that achieves academic and athletic success on a consistent basis. The head coach monitors academic progress; develops training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes; schedules games and practices in accordance with school policies.
Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Management Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Pupil Activity Supervision Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
Applications are being accepted and the search will continue until the position is filled.
