Denny Thompson has been let go at D2 Elida after 15 seasons per various media sources. According to a press release from Elida Schools, Coach Thompson was given an opportunity to step down but chose not to do so. Coach Thompson went 200-161 (78-57 WBL) in his 15 seasons at Elida including 3 WBL championships, 9 sectional championships, 3 district championships. and a regional championship in 2012 when the Bulldogs were the D2 state runner-up.

Was a varsity assistant at Otsego the past couple of seasons. Was the girls head coach at Springfield at one point. Not positive, but I think he also was on Tim Reiser's staff at Springfield.
