It's PREPARATION (coaching fundamentals, schemes, game-planning, half-time adjustments) which vastly overshadows ANY motivational talk. Pre-game motivation didn't get De LaSalle its winning streak. Coaching and player talent did. The spring and summer sweat in the weightrooms, etc. have much more impact.
