hahaha... I thought you were being an --- to him until I looked at where you're from... :D Yeah, HD hasn't been anything visually stunning over the past couple years. They just play real solid football all around and do what's necessary to win.

Actually I was just being an -----. Just kidding around. You know how you read things sometimes and they just seem funny?

My first post on the thread just seemed to flow as I read/typed it. Of course Propst never lost to Colerain, it was just the way it looked to me.

Then I was just playing dumb to be funny. I was probably the only who thought so.

If I rememebr correctly, HD was in the "Teams to watch section" in CatFan's preseason outlook.
 
wouldn't over look them, mtv makes them look pasty but not forget they did lose to a very very good john curtis team. Can't say much about this game till it's played.

I said no mattar what team the bucs had to play they would not win. The best two teams thy played in 2006. (Pratville and John Curtis they got spanked.) Colerain maybe better this year then last year. Which is not good for anyone. So Hoover better be ready.

I agree with you Naughty but lets wait and see if we can say Colerain will be better than last year because they lost there entire starting backfield except Doug Reynolds, and also there top wr. and Eugene Clifford. But they always have tons of speed and talent,and there jv was unbeaten and they return 14 starters so I can see your view on things but time will tell my friend.

Of course. I'll be watching the Colerain/Hoover game sitting on the Colerain side. That is as long as it doesn't conflict with the X/DeMatha game. All of the Colerain posters (H&G, CardsFan) keep saying this matchup isn't even gonna happen though and Colerain is playing Highlands in the Herbie.

Colerain isn't playing Highlands in the Herbie, the rumor is Colerain is playing Highlands in week 3. H&G also insists (along with a few others) that Colerain won't be playing in the Herbie at all and there is some monster match up in the works of some kind...

Okay good. Highlands is a horrible opponent for any Ohio team in the Herbie because a few teams play them during the regular season anyway.
 
Hoover wouldn't even be in the top ten in Ohio teams. Canton Mckinley, Massilon, Cleveland Glenville, Moeller, St. Ed's, St. Ignatius, Colerain... those schools bring out too much talent annually.
 
just curious (don't chew me out) who are colerain's big talents this coming football season, if i remember correctly colerain's jv barely scraped by x's jv two years ago (x several sophmores on varsity), not to mention colerain plays juniors on jv while x only plays sophmores...so just curious why colerain is expected to be so good? they lost clifford and combs what's going on at colerain (don't chew me out)

What are you talking about? Colerain JV beat the X JV 35-0. I don't see what that game has to do with anything anyway. They return like 12 starters from last year's team, plus the JV went undefeated and crushed everyone again so there's great talent coming up.

Oh, and this game probably isn't even going to happen anymore. Hoover won't return the contract or return Bolden's e-mails.
