Hoover led 1-0 after a quarter in which Walsh really played methodically on offense. Walsh got the 1st 2 goals to start the 2nd , but Hoover answered with 2 to tie and then re-take the lead @ 3-2. With 6 seconds left in the half Walsh tied it on a fastbreak after a turnover. Halftime 3-3. In the 2nd period Hoover had a goal that was waived off. Hoover scored early in the 3rd priod to go up 4-3, Walsh would answer to tie it at 4. Later in the period Hoover scored to go up 5-4, but Walsh would answer again late in the 3rd. It only took Walsh 16 seconds to score to open the 4th period, but who would have thought that they wouldn't score again. Actually for the next 9 minutes neither team would score. Hoover finally broke through with about 2 1/2(?) minutes left to tie the game at 6. Hoover then won the face-off and scored again on a sweet tandem pass and shoot, after the face-off Hoover again retained possession and ran the 1:57 off the clock.
