Looked like there were a number of high snaps in the Massillon game. With a good snap and hold, I think Lavelle is pretty solid.Well that explains all the kicking issues.

I think I agree. The 1 team that might keep it from happening could be Medina. Although if Ignatius has a bad game in the playoffs, I would not be surprised if they got beat by someone other than Medina. And maybe a team we don't see it coming from.I think Mentor/Medina winner this weekend will emerge as most likely to prevent a Holy War II. I think we will get one, though.
I went on the Ignatius website to buy tickets for the game and it says I need a passcode. Will that change come Wednesday. Do I need to call the school to get this. In the past I think they just let Ignatius and Ed's families/alum, etc... get them first then open it up to the public. Hopefully that is what is going on now and I will be able to buy tickets on Wednesday. Thoughts on what is going on? Thanks.
Thanks for the update. I really appreciate that. Enjoy the game. I can't wait for Saturday!!!On sale Wed.

sellout?
I was at all of those except 1983.St. Ignatius vs. St. Edward: Ranking the biggest football games in Chuck Kyle’s tenure
St. Ignatius coach Chuck Kyle will lead the Wildcats against St. Edward on Saturday night at Byers Field in Parma for their final meeting during his tenure, barring a playoff rematch.www.cleveland.com
Not sure on the admission. Haven't attended a freshman game in some years, but they weren't charging last I went. .I was at all of those except 1983.
Does Eds charge admission for their freshmen games? As in tonight?
Right? Good weather, no Buckeye game, both highly ranked, Kyle's last Holy War.If this game isn't sold out, then I've lost all hope for amateur athletics
That's why freshman football is primarily a learning experience.Freshmen:
Eds 27
Ignatius 26
Ignatius led 26-9 at halftime. The Ignatius kids were celebrating like they won the game.
Then some big plays by Eds, and two turnovers by Ignatius flipped the game.
you may be losing that hope soon. That's a big stadiumIf this game isn't sold out, then I've lost all hope for amateur athletics
We sold it out 3x my senior season in '08, which wasn't THAT long ago hayou may be losing that hope soon. That's a big stadium
Even if there was no wind I wasn't thinking there would be much passing. Lol! Wind could potentially aid the team that has the wind at their back. That's when they MAY throw it some. Wind could be a huge factor though in the kicking game. Both on FG's and punts (with the wind vs. against the wind. Punting can be brutal if the wind is really gusting). Looking for 3 OT's.Forecast is for high winds from Ian, 20-30 mph, and with the wind tunnel that is Byers, don't look for much passing.
