Some good non-league opening games for first weekend of the season---GMC vs GGCL is always interesting to begin the season (Mason and OH) and East and Sycamore playing Saturday and Sunday at Sycamore. Thoughts always appreciated.

Mason rolling early, not missing a beat with the new coach.

LW hammered in opener with new coach.
LOL....I wouldn't say they were "rolling" early.... Mason was losing at the half, and that was with Gerton barely playing, and stud freshman Thomas didn't even play at all. (Gerton exited early in first quarter with injury scoring only 8).

Vikes still only lost by 10. Obviously these two not playing was a huge factor in the final outcome. Hopefully they will be healthy soon.

I believe since he posted that comment on 11/27 he was referring to Mason defeating MND by 15---the Princeton game was played 12/4---but Mason is good no matter and Princeton will be good as well--injuries happen to every team at some point---coach 'em up they say!!

December 7th and 9th results of games---3 GMC vs GGCL match-ups on Monday with Oak Hills getting the big 10 point win over West Side rival Seton for the 3rd year in a row---Lakota East loses a heart breaker in 2 OT's to MND, after leading by 13 heading to the 4th Qtr, and Ursuline knocks off Hamilton 48-33.
