Video Highlights, Recap, and Full Game Statistics:

That LE game still looks odd.
Season opening jitters? Who knows. They have not impressed my eyes in wins over Coffman who was just terrible defensively that night or Miamisburg who appears to be exceedingly average. Lakota West is the best team I have seen in person. I do not think Centerville is a state championship contender but here is the deal. I have been wrong before and i also do not get to decide who wins it.

Apparently they have a defense reminiscent of teams from the early to mid 80's.
There is a lot of tough games left, but I am both surprised and humbled by this turnaround. Kudos to the coaching staff and players who have apparently bought in too "Elk Pride." Never saw this coming.

Salem 23, Padua 21. Salem runs off 16 straight points including a 20 yard FG as time expires for a soul-crushing win. Kudos to Salem's coaches for the halftime adjustments switching from long passing routes that generated at least 10 first-half sacks for Padua to short out and slant routes that Padua had no answer for.
