Buford's Edrick Houston will be on tap Friday night at 7:00pm EST on ESPN2. When top ten nationally ranked Buford, Ga., and national top ten Mill Creek, Ga., will be playing in what many are saying is a preview of the GHSA State 7A Championship. Buford won last season's meeting in regular season. Only to have Mill Creek run roughshod through the 7A playoffs, beating Ju Ju Lewis and Carrollton 70-35, in the finals. Nationally ranked #2 Buford, had been upset at home in round two, by Walton of Marietta. And a former Ohio State QB recruit, will also be starting for Buford, after moving from Pinnacle High School in Ariz. Buford is favored, due to Caleb Downs having graduated from Mill Creek. And is now starting for the Crimson Pachyderms of Alabama.
Buford has already defeated #3 St. Francis Academy 18-0, and North Carolina power Mallard Creek, 10-7. The Wolves have only given up 25 points in their 6-0 start. While Mill Creek is averaging nearly fifty points per game, after their 6-0 start. Should be a decent game.
