How does everyone think Boardman will stack up this year in the Federal League?

I know they have at least for seniors returning this year.. but the rest of their team is fairly young.

Federal League

I will say Hoover will be hard to beat but the federal league will be tough with a young jackson team and good Perry team.I still think GlenOak is one year away but will be very good .

1. Hoover
2. Jackson
3. Perry
4. GlenOak
5. Lake
6. Mckinley
7. Boardman
8. Fitch

UhOh, you better not let all the Fitch fans see you putting them at the bottom. But I agree with everyone above, Hoover will run away with the league title again this year. Jackson and Perry will both be competative, with the rest of the league falling short.

Boardman is still relatively young, and will struggle at times, but should have a winning season. Heard that they now have a pretty good pitching coach working with their staff. Should help them a lot. :)

Boardman should never be as bad as they were last year. They have too good of a program and little league program. Didn't the current seniors make it to nationals when they were in little league or 13-14's? I would think there should be talent there if that is the case.

I believe SlickMick is 100% correct. They will struggle, but should have a winning season. Boardman has a strong Freshman class this year, but next year's Freshman class may be one of their best yet. They do have a very good Little League program, and this year's 13-14 year olds will be tough. The High Scool team is probably a few years away from getting back to the top.

Jackson have any new pitchers this year ? If they had a pitcher closer to Simpson they could upset the Vikings. The young position players are very talented but in softball even more than baseball great pitching beats great hitting almost every time.
