MSML definitely laid off the gas and an Orange & Black bowl of Minster v Dalton would have been a crazy good game. That said, let’s not fight over scraps here. Both teams got beat by the champ. Ansonia would have been the 3rd seed in Daltons regions.

Marion took it to the bulldogs, no doubt and congrats to them once again. Your other statement is silly - laid off the gas? Did they ever even punt? Not that I remember. Heck, ML was throwing fades to the end zone with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter and a running clock. I had no problem with this by the way - the game was still going on. But a 70 burger, c’mon dude. I will happily accept the trash talking from a ML fan, but an Ansonia guy….
 
I would take Dalton over Ansonia. More versatility and explosive capabilities. Minster gave MSML their toughest game in the playoffs without question. But styles make fights. Wouldn't doubt that Minster would have their hands full with Dalton. Marion just has a knack for turning it up a level just when you think there couldn't possibly be another gear. Dalton unfortunately was the recipient of that in the finals.

I liked how the Cats were playing football expecially Defense at the end of the season, the first time they played Marion they gave up 400 and some yards of Offense, and the second time around 215 or so yards, they shut down the Flyers passing attack to 70 yards. It would have been interesting how the Cats would have done against the Daltons rushing attack, and how Dalton would have done against a pretty good passing attack from the Cats... Congrats to the Flyers and dalton for great seasons!!!

Agree. Minster's defense improved a lot by season's end. Cats were playing at a high level.
